FH Capital, a private equity firm focused on clean energy, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 75.1% controlling stake in JinkoSolar's U.S. subsidiary, Jinko Solar (U.S.) Industries Inc. JinkoSolar will retain a 24.9% minority interest in the entity, which operates a 2 GW solar module manufacturing facility and a BESS platform. The transaction establishes FH Capital as the controlling owner of a domestic U.S. solar manufacturing operation.

Chinese solar manufacturers reported fresh financial losses in their latest results, even as some executives expressed optimism that the Iran war could boost overseas demand for solar panels.
